Week 16 Final

Week 15 Outside of class

Some of the changes that I made this week was making the sign for the name to be revealed. I decided to go with most of the name being revealed as separate pieces rather than one large chunk, in order to make it look more like a sign. One of the things that I had to look into. one of the hardest things was moving all of the frames in order to make the light look realistic. I had to use several opacity fluctuating frames in order to make it look correct.  

Week 15 In Class

Today in class it was all about a mini critique. Today we watched everyone's feedback and I received some of the following.
Feedback:

• Make the flamingo have a jump when the car light hits 
• diminish some of the background details on the house 
• Add some f squash and stretch to the flamingo 
• make the grass move 
• is it a car if so make it more obvious.

Week 13/14 Outside of Class

One of the main things that I worked on was animating the walk cycle. this was hard since I had to make separate sections of the legs and move them frame by frame. One of the videos that I watched discussed making things move frame by frame by using parenting aspects. Somehow I was not able to make it work so I decided to just move all of the limbs individually. 

Another thing that I'm having problems with is the ability to make the flamingo jump when the car light is on the flamingo.

Also, I narrowed down on the look of the flamingo. I had to work to make it fit stylistically. 

Week 14 NO CLASS

Week 13 in class

one of the things that we worked on in class was a bouncing ball exercise. We had to work on hand drawing frames which I think really helped and will help with the upcoming project. It helped me think about how I would make things squish and show expressions.



Also this class We recieved feedback on our story boards which helped.

Week 12 Outside of class

I also created my main background for this project, the main reason I decided to do this is to show the color scheme that I wanted to go with for the overall animation. I thought that something like this would help to show more of the setting that I was thinking for the overall idea. 

This week we had to work on concepts for our frame by frame name reveal project. One of the things that I struggled with was coming up with a character. I decided to go with a flamingo since they are my favorite animal and i think that they go along with my personality.
